History of Elaine Steven Beauty College

Many people have asked where the name Elaine Steven Beauty College came from.  Elaine Steven Beauty College was established in 1962.  The original owner had 2 grandchildren by the name of Elaine and Steven, so the original owner decided that would be a great name for the school.  The school is currently located at 10420 W. Florissant Ave in North St. Louis County.  The school has always been located in North St. Louis County, starting originally on Lewis & Clark Blvd in the Top of the Tower, then moving to the corner of Chambers & Halls Ferry, then moving to it’s current location.  The school has only changed ownership a few times over the years and is currently owned by Gina and John Kinion.  Gina graduated from Elaine Steven Beauty College in 1977, which at the time was owned by her parents.  Elaine Steven Beauty College has graduated many stylists over the years and hopes to continue to do so for many years to come.
